Kean Research Days

Kean Research Days is an annual occasion which celebrates research and creative endeavors with a series of events.

Research Days 2017 included 258 separate student presentations. A total of 405 students from every college in the university presented.  These students were mentored by 80 different faculty members.

 During Research Days Faculty members and students participate in oral and poster presentations to showcase their research. Research Days provides an excellent opportunity for students to share their research work with the campus community and also appreciate the work of fellow classmates and faculty members.

Clinton Global Initiative 2017

3 Kean student teams attended The 2016 Clinton Global Initiative Conference at University of California, Berkeley

Kean University is a member of the CGI University Network.

This year, three teams of nine Kean students were accepted and attended the 2017 event at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts

CGI U attendees represented over 250 schools and 80 countries and came together at UC Berkeley to workshop their Commitments to Action, connect with fellow student innovators, and attend a variety of networking sessions.

Students Partnering with Faculty (SpF) 2016

The Students Partnering with Faculty (SpF) Summer Research Program is a competitive program that was developed to support and advance student and faculty research and scholarship at Kean University. Every summer, teams of Kean students and faculty spend 6-8 weeks on research and creative projects funded through The Students Partnering with Faculty (SpF) program. This year, eight faculty members from various disciplines were awarded the SpF grant.

Through the SpF program, full-time faculty have the opportunity to submit proposals, in collaboration with undergraduate or graduate students.

Kean University is a member of the CGI University Network and has pledged to support, mentor and provide seed funding to student innovators and entrepreneurs on campus. Under the Leadership of Dr. Norma Bowe, Dr. Claire Mulry and Dr. Dongyan Mu, three teams were selected by the CGI U to participate in their annual meeting.
